Representation of a consortium of Shikun & Binui Ltd. and Egged Holding Ltd. in the submission of the tender for the finance, design, construction, operation, maintenance and transfer of the “Jerusalem J-Net”.
The design and construction of the new railway line in Jerusalem (the Green Line) is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Jerusalem. The project includes the construction of railways in the length of 27 km from Mount Scopus to Malha and Gilo, with an extension to Givat Ram. The estimated scope of the project’s value is NIS 7 billion. The project also includes the operation of the existing railway line (the red line) operated by CityPass.
The comprehensive representation included preparation of the financing documents, negotiations with the representatives of the Tender committee which is comprised of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport, National Infrastructures and Road Safety and the Jerusalem Municipality in collaboration with the Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan Team and a continuous accompaniment in the process of preparing the bid documents.
