Eli Blechman

Mr. Eli Blechman is a partner in FISCHER’s Litigation and Insolvency & Restructuring practices.
Mr. Blechman focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on class actions and derivative lawsuits. Within this framework, he provides comprehensive legal support to the clients of the practice concerning corporate restructuring and bankruptcy matters under the Israeli Insolvency Law, the Economic Rehabilitation Law, and Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
Mr. Blechman represents clients before various Israeli courts and jurisdictions as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
Prior to joining FISCHER, Mr. Blechman spent five years working at the New York offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, in the Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department, where he routinely provided legal consultation on complex corporate restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 cases.
Prior thereto, Mr. Blechman served for three years as a Senior Law Clerk to the Honorable Justice (retired) Yoram Danziger of the Supreme Court of Israel and interned for the Honorable Judge (retired) Varda Alshech of the Tel Aviv District Court.
